Touareg Information

The Touareg’s headlights are bold and distinctive, while the unmistakable U-shaped grill dazzles in chrome. Both the front and rear bumpers are aerodynamically enhanced, and the taillights are bright and prominent to compliment the aggressive front.

Inside the Touareg, the 11-speaker sound system, comprehensive Climatronic air-conditioning and metres of leather cocoon you no matter what the exterior conditions. The instrument panel and multi-function display are elegantly integrated. From here, the driver has almost intuitive access to all controls, including the onboard computer monitoring system that delivers updates on fuel consumption, the outside air temperature and trip information. The multi-function steering wheel puts the controls for the radio, cruise control and display at your fingertips.

Exterior

  1. Front and rear fog lights compliment the halogen headlights.
  2. Colour-coded electric side mirrors.
  3. Tinted glass windows all round.
  4. The 18" Fat Boy alloy wheels are standard on the V8 model range. The 5.0 V10 TDI boasts 19" Terra alloy wheels, with the 20" Mountain alloy wheels an optional extra, while the mighty R50 stands on 21" Omanyt alloy wheels.
  5. Twin, oval tailpipes, R Line colour-coded body enhancements, Reflex Silver mouldings and sports bumpers distinguish the Touareg R50 from the range.

Interior

  1. Leather trim options include Cricket and Nappa (V10 and R50 only) leather in various colours.
  2. A total of 1570 litres of luggage space with a separately-opening rear window to make packing easier and a luggage compartment cover as standard.
  3. 8-channel amplifier and 11-speaker sound system.
  4. Climatronic air-conditioning system lets you control airflow in each half of the cabin.
  5. A range of decorative inserts, including wood and metallic finishes, are available for the cockpit.
  6. The R50 boasts sports front seats with electric seat height adjustment with memory for both driver and passenger. Outer seats in the rear of the R50 are heated.

Optional Extras

  1. Electric fold-away towbar (on the V8, V10 TDI and R50).
  2. Reversing camera improves accuracy and visibility when reversing, and is displayed via the satellite navigation display screen.
  3. Integrated garage door opener.
